Good morning to you all,
We hope you had a warm and safe Christmas surrounded by those you love. It certainly is a time to reflect on everything that we are thankful for and absorb the spirit of accomplishment, sacrifice and love.
Today, December 26th, marks the beginning of our new Howard Bison Swimming and Diving blog site. And what better way to open the blog than with our first day traveling to Ft. Myers, Florida. Our annual training trip commences later today when a convey of Bison Swimmers will hop on the bus and make the trek to Florida Gulf Coast University.
Throughout the sunshine, camaraderie and the cardiovascular challenges our team will face, we hope to give you an inside look at our team and the adventure that is The Florida Training Trip. We hope you will be able to check-in periodically and offer your comments and suggestions. The site is a work in progress, so you may see a new wrinkle here or there. Regardless, it will be informative, complete with a variety of vantage points and circumstances.
We hope you will be able to check-in as often as you can. We are looking forward to the start of the second half of the season and what promises to be a record-setting, historic season of the program. Thank you for all of your support and encouragement.
All the best,
The Bison of Howard Swimming
